[802.3_EXTND_EPON] Standard was approved!

Dear colleagues,

 

I am very happy to inform you that IEEE P802.3bk was approved as a new standard by the IEEE-SA Standards Board on 23 August 2013. A copy of the document will be forwarded to the Standards Publications Department for publication preparation with the expected publication on the 30th of August 2013.

 

At this time, I would like to thank all contributors to this project, reviewers of the draft at various stages of the process, as well the 802.3 WG officers, who have been helping behind the scenes to make sure that we get our timelines right, and deliver all the documentation in time. Thank you all and I hope future EPON-related projects go as quickly and smoothly as this one.
