Hi,

I have put together a proposal for a paradigm shift in the way we 
approach BASE-T networking.

This proposal makes sense to me because it allows us to focus the 
cost/power/density of the PMD to the application it's serving, while 
maintaining compatibility (backwards and forward) with other BASE-T 
standards.
