Curtis,

Unfortunately, neither Phil, Saif, Doug or I will be able to attend the NG-EPON meeting tomorrow. We have a very important conflicting meeting which we all must participate on at the exact same time.

So, in anticipation of the meeting, regarding your item #3 (call for contributions), we are planning to present 2 or 3 contributions on the following topics:

1. Observed growth and projections for network utilization and speed tiers
2. Proposed wavelength allocations for NG-EPON
3. (tentative) Compatibility requirements for NG-EPON

We would like to collaborate with others on the above.

Regarding the objectives, we have comments/suggestions along the lines of suggesting a more specific objective for N x base-PMD.
