[802.3_SPMD] FW: [802.3_DIALOG] Recording attendance in IMAT

For those that may have missed this in the January WG closing meeting, the requests to have attendance added to IMAT has reached an unsustainable level. As such, I will no longer forward requests to the Recording Secretary to have attendance added after a meeting. Any such requests will not be responded to. It is your responsibility to remember to log into IMAT while a meeting that counts as credit is in session. I cover this in the opening material, and reminders are often restated during meetings, giving ample opportunity to register attendance.

Dear colleagues,

The volume of requests the IEEE 802.3 Recording Secretary, Jon Lewis, is receiving from individuals asking to have their attendance added to IMAT after meetings close has reached an unsustainable level. As a reminder, there is no requirement for the IEEE 802.3 Recording Secretary or any other IEEE 802.3 officer to do this. As a result, as I announced at the January 2023 IEEE 802.3 Interim meeting, if the volume of these requests does not reduce by the end of the March IEEE 802.3 plenary session, we will no longer accept such requests.

Please ALWAYS remember to sign into IMAT during the meeting.

Thanks, and best regards,
David
