Re: [802.3_NGEPON] NG-EPON IC Draft D1.0 is available

Bill,

I’d say everyone is pretty loaded with parallel projects right now. We will open the draft again out of this upcoming interim and hope for some more comments. Since the review of IC drafts is not obligatory, it is kind of hard to force anybody to read and comment on it …

Marek

Hi Marek,

So the D1.0 draft was also distributed to the 802.3 WG, and I didn't see any comments from anyone outside of the NGEPON group.  Anything to surmise from that, other than we had a pretty short comment period for those unfamiliar with the draft?

See everyone in Louisville on Monday...

Regards,

Bill

Dear colleagues,

I would like to clarify one issue that came up, as signaled by a few individual who already started reading the draft and commenting on it. The PDF document contains two different sets of page numbers: one set is embedded in the PDF document itself, and the other one is displayed by you PDF reader. The issue is demonstrated below, where the PDF document identifies the given page as 16, while the reader shows page 31 of 95.

For commenting purposes, please use the page number as shown by your PDF reader, and not page numbers embedded in the document. This will allow you to comment on the frontmatter as well. In the future revisions, Editors will align page numbering to make sure that this issue is not observed anymore
