Re: [10GBASE-CX4] Progress Report on 802.3ak

Fellow 802.ak members;

Bob Grow informed me that we have been authorized to go to
Sponsor ballot contingent upon our successful closure of
Working Group Ballot.

The P802.3ak/D4.0 document is now posted in our private
area.

While I am hoping that D4.0 comes in with no comments (ie:
only approves) I would like to make plans for a meeting on
the 13th of August in the San Jose area to resolve any
comments that might come in. If you can host such a meeting,
(probably 15-20 people for 6 hours) please contact me so
that we can announce the location.

Thanks again for all of the hard work. Special thanks to
Howard Baumer who turned D4.2 around in amazing time.

Regards,

Dan Dove
Chair, 802.ak
