One point was to get jitter tolerance coverage similar to previous specs. One point was to firm up a compliant transmitter spec. There is presently equipment to create a de-emphasized TX waveform. With that said, Straw Poll #1 "What test, int tol and/or jit tol, should be run on the receiver" -Chicago Rules- A. int tol only = 4 B. both same time = 7 C. both separately = 7 D. jitter tolerance only = 1 The OIF has a similar RX test. Why aren't we trying to align better with OIF? Doing all this at one time seems complicated. Asking for volunteers to write up option C. CEI draft 2.0 is available for a template. Straw Poll #2 "Should the compliance channel be the same or lossier than Amax?" Yes= 5 No= 1 Abstain= 4 An attendee requested that the data generator should be specified more definitively. The comments must be resolved in Vancouver, so please bring in presentations on either item B or C since they were most popular. Charles presented moore_c1_1105 which will be discussed in Vancouver.
