Dear Colleagues, This is a meeting announcement for the P802.3cd 50 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s Ethernet Task Force. The meetings will be held during the 802.3 Plenary meeting week
in Orlando, Florida the week of Nov 5th- 10th, 2017 Meeting details may be found at
http://802world.org/plenary/ The P802.3cd Task Force will be meeting on
the full day Tuesday. *** Note: The P802.3bs Task Force is scheduled to meet on Monday afternoon. If the work of the P802.3cd TF looks like it will be tight to complete in the one day
of Tuesday AND if P802.3bs TF finishes its work early, then we will start the 802.3cd TF right after P802.3bs TF finishes on Monday PM. As we get closer to the meeting date and know our workload, I’ll be clarifying the likelihood of this happening.
*** As a reminder, the 802.3cd Working Group ballot recirculation of D2.2 is currently open (closes on Oct 11th). Details of the ballot are
here. The goal of the meeting will be to resolve all the received comments against D2.2. Contributions are expected to be focused on supporting any proposed changes included in the comments received.
As discussed in September, we are anticipating that we will request approval to move to Sponsor Ballot in November as we see the comment count has fallen considerably during our WG Ballot. Requests for presentation time shall be made to me at mnowell@xxxxxxxxx and must be made by EOD Friday, Oct 27th, 2017.
