[802.3_10SPE] Thoughts on comments for the Milwaukee meeting

All -

While we prepare for the out-of-cycle interim in Milwaukee, in the spirit of openness, I would like to make the following offer, as chair of 802.3cg:

If there is a comment you feel strongly about, particularly if you don’t think you will be at the meeting, it would probably help others and the cause of building consensus, if you send that statement to the reflector and indicate the comment number it applies to.

You may wish the subject of the email to indicate the comment number, e.g., comment r02-<nnn>” (where the comment number (nnn) is filled in).

Thank you, and I look forward to a productive meeting in Milwaukee.

Meanwhile, since Val is going to be on a (well-deserved) vacation, I will be preparing proposed responses over the next couple of days with the help of the rest of our editorial staff. We expect this to be a quick turnaround of the proposed responses and are working fast.

I, myself, will be out of touch for the next 7 to 8 hours, so I apologize for delayed response.
