Title: P802.3ar/D1.1 Task Force review

IEEE P802.3ar Task Force Members:

This is the announcement of the electronic IEEE P802.3ar Task Force review on P802.3ar (Congestion Management).

We realize many of you have obligations to review and ballot on several current 802.3 projects. We appreciate any time you can allocate to reviewing our draft. We have a goal of going to WG ballot at the March 2006 meeting.

If a Task Force member plans to make a presentation for adoption into the next draft, then it is highly recommended that the Task Force member submit a comment with a reference to their presentation as part of the suggested remedy.

If you have comments, you can access the comment generation tool (10MB) at the following URL:
http://www.ieee802.org/3/ar/public/tools/CM_Cmt_Tool.zip

This is a Windows-based run-time database application. Save the compressed zip file to a directory where you wish to uncompress the file. Once you uncompress the file, do not move the directory or any files in the directory as this may prevent the executable program from running properly. Double-click on the executable file (EXE) to run the database application. If this is the first time you have used this comment generation tool, please read the instructions.

NOTE: Use of this tool is greatly preferred, as the output it generates is easy to import into our comment resolution database.

If you are unable to use the tool, please format your comments and submit them as described below. This method should only be used as a last resort.

Acceptable comment types:
E = Editorial
ER = Editorial Required (an Editorial comment that the commenter feels very strongly about)
T = Technical
TR = Technical Required (a Technical comment that the commenter feels very strongly about)

To submit comments in text (ASCII) form, please use the form below. This will make it easier for the editor to properly record and track all submissions. Make as many copies of the template as necessary and submit as an ASCII text file or as part of your e-mail. Enter your comment between "Comment:" and "CommentEnd:" and your suggested remedy to your comment between "SuggestedRemedy:" and "RemedyEnd:".
