The 1st Standards Association recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cs Increased-reach Ethernet optical subscriber access (Super-PON) closed successfully on 15th February 2022. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The March 2022 IEEE P802.3cs Task Force plenary session meeting <
https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 6 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The comment database is available now on the Task Force web page.
