[EFM] about the link model

I had seen your presentation file "Laser considerations for link budget", it is very helpful for me to calculate the 
power budget, I found the BWm parameter(fiber model bandwidth) you used is 100GHz*km, but I found in 10Gb Ethernet link model and PON link model the parameter is 1000GHz*km, I don't know how to calculate or how to measure the BWm of a single mode fiber, which parameter is right?
