[EFM] Solutions of burst mode testing?

I have problems of testing burst mode PON modules, such as BER, eye, etc.

 

I don't know how to do the tests and what instruments are available.

Can traditional continous mode instruments be used? and how?

 

Would you provide some information on these issues?
