[802.3_DIALOG] Announcement of IEEE P802.3br Task Force Review

Dear Colleagues,

I don't normally forward Task Force review announcements to the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group e-mail reflector, however in the case of IEEE P802.3br Interspersing Express Traffic draft D1.0 Task Force review I am doing so.

The scope of the IEEE P802.3br project is to specify additions to and appropriate modifications of IEEE Std 802.3 to add support for interspersing express traffic over a single physical link and the draft includes the specification of an optional MAC Merge sublayer for use with a pair of full-duplex MACs and a single PHY operating at 100 Mb/s or higher. Based on this IEEE 802.3br has broad applicability across Ethernet speeds and media therefore the IEEE P802.3br Task Force Chair and I wanted to share the announcement with the IEEE 802.3 Working Group.

Best regards,
  David
