[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE 802.24 IoT Task Group formation proposals

Dear Colleagues,

At the IEEE 802.3 opening plenary on Monday I assigned consideration of the IEEE 802.24 IoT Task Group formation proposals to the PAR review Ad Hoc. The Ad Hoc met Monday afternoon, the IEEE 802.24 IoT Task Group scope document was considered, and there were no comments.

There is however a requirement that formation of a IEEE 802.24 Task Group be supported by at least two IEEE 802 Working Groups and hence Chris DiMinico has request agenda time during the IEEE 802.3 Closing plenary this afternoon to seek the support of the IEEE 802.3 Working Group. In preparation for this the IEEE 802.24 IoT scope document, and proposed motion, are attached.
