[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bq 25G/40GBASE-T 3rd Sponsor recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 3rd Sponsor recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bq 25G/40GBASE-T closed successfully on 24th May 2016. The ballot statistics are:

 128 Voters
 106 Approve
   3 Disapprove
   4 Abstain
 113 Ballots returned

 88.28% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
  3.54% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 97.25% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)

IEEE P802.3bq received conditional approval to proceed to RevCom submittal at the March 2016 IEEE 802 Plenary meeting. Since there were no new disapprove votes, and no comments, submitted during this 3rd Sponsor recirculation ballot, this project has now met the conditions defined in Clause 12 'Procedure for conditional approval to forward a draft standard' of the IEEE 802 LMSC Operations Manual. Based on this I'll report these results to the IEEE 802 EC and IEEE P802.3bq will remain on the 29th June 2016 RevCom meeting agenda.

Thank you to all that participated in this ballot.
