[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bt DTE Power via MDI over 4-Pair 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bt DTE Power via MDI over 4-Pair closed successfully on 18th December 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2017 IEEE P802.3bt Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 454 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3bt Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 212 Voters
 109 Approve
  18 Disapprove 
  28 Abstain
 155 Ballots returned

 73.11% Response Rate (> 50% required)
 18.06% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 85.83% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
