[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3cc 25 Gb/s Ethernet over Single-Mode Fiber initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cc 25 Gb/s Ethernet over Single-Mode Fiber closed successfully on 28th December 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2017 IEEE P802.3cc Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 106 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3cc Task Force reflector.
