[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3cc 25 Gb/s Ethernet over Single-Mode Fiber 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3cc 25 Gb/s Ethernet over Single-Mode Fiber closed successfully on 14th February 2017. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft and the IEEE P802.3cc Task Force interim meeting held the following day considered the 27 comments submitted. These comments, with their responses agreed to at the interim meeting, can be accessed at <http://www.ieee802.org/3/cc/comments/index.shtml>.

The ballot statistics are:

 223 Voters
 124 Approve
   6 Disapprove 
  22 Abstain
 152 Ballots returned

 68.16% Response Rate (> 50% required)
 14.47% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 95.38% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
