Dear Colleagues,
The 2nd Sponsor recirculation ballot on the IEEE P802.3cb 2.5 Gb/s and 5 Gb/s Backplane amendment closed successfully yesterday, 17th December 2017. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The December 2017 IEEE P802.3cb Task Force teleconference interim meeting taking place today <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/cbtelecon_1_1217.html> will consider the 66 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3cb Task Force reflector.
