[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3cd 50 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, and 200 Gb/s Ethernet 3rd Sponsor recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 3rd Sponsor recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3cd 50 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, and 200 Gb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 21st June 2018. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The July 2018 IEEE P802.3cd Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 45 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3cd Task Force reflector.

An additional comment was received after the ballot closed, this comment will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3cd Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.

The ballot statistics are:

 142 Voters
 115 Approve
   9 Disapprove 
   5 Abstain
 129 Ballots returned

 90% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
  3% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 92% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
