Dear Colleagues,
The 3rd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3cg 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet closed successfully on 9th February 2019. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The February 2019 IEEE P802.3cg Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 124 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3cg Task Force reflector.
An additional 4 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3cg Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.
The ballot statistics are:
249 Voters
142 Approve
4 Disapprove
18 Abstain
164 Ballots returned
65% Response Rate (> 50% required)
10% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
