[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3cq IEEE 802.3 Power over Ethernet over 2 pairs (Maintenance #13) initial Standards Association ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial Standards Association ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cq IEEE 802.3 Power over Ethernet over 2 pairs (Maintenance #13) closed successfully on 23rd August 2019. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The September 2019 IEEE P802.3cq Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 6 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3cq Task Force reflector.

An additional comment was received after the ballot closed, this comment will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3cq Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.

The ballot statistics are:

 102 Voters
  85 Approve
   1 Disapprove 
   3 Abstain
  89 Ballots returned

  87% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   3% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  98% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
