| Colleagues: I joined the 802.15.7a comment resolution call Monday morning (PDT). (I was one of three participants.) I haven’t seen the responses on the EC reflector but am assuming these will be the responses eventually posted by the WG. The discussions on the call left me with the impression that this Interest Group has not received much mentoring from 802.15, on the IEEE 802 LMSC PAR review process. The VAT IG Chair was surprised at the amount and type of comments we provided compared to the comments on the base standard project when it was proposed. That said, I think the proponents have tried to address our comments, and the CSD responses do provide more detail, especially on the optical transmitters and receivers of various devices that could be used, and providing some information on potential limitations of OCC. If any of you have concerns about this project and its documents, please express them here prior to the 21 May WG meeting. —Bob
