Dear Colleagues,
The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3ct IEEE P802.3ct 100 Gb/s over DWDM systems closed successfully on 20th June 2020. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The upcoming joint IEEE P802.3ct / P802.3cw Interim and plenary week teleconference meetings <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 141 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3ct Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:
195 Voters
84 Approve
10 Disapprove
10 Abstain
104 Ballots returned
53% Response Rate (> 50% required)
9% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
89% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
