[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3cu 100 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s over SMF at 100 Gb/s per Wavelength 1st Standards Association recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st Standards Association recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cu 100 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s over SMF at 100 Gb/s per Wavelength closed successfully on 30th October 2020. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The upcoming IEEE P802.3cu Task Force teleconference meeting <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 20 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3cu Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 103 Voters
  82 Approve
   2 Disapprove 
   3 Abstain
  87 Ballots returned

  84% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   3% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
