Dear Colleagues,
The 4th IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cp Bidirectional 10 Gb/s, 25 Gb/s, and 50 Gb/s Optical Access PHYs closed successfully on 12th January 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft and no comments were received. Conditional approval to submit IEEE P802.3cp to Standards Association ballot was granted at the November 2020 plenary session. Based on the results of this recirculation ballot, IEEE P802.3cp will now to proceed to Standards Association ballot.
The ballot statistics are:

125 Approve
6 Disapprove
19 Abstain
150 Ballots returned
76% Response Rate (> 50% required)
12% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
95% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
