[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3ck 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Electrical Interfaces initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3ck 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Electrical Interfaces closed successfully on 18th April 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The upcoming IEEE P802.3ck Task Force interim meetings <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 238 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3ck Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 213 Voters
 117 Approve
  15 Disapprove 
  19 Abstain
 151 Ballots returned

  70% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  12% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  88% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
