Title: IEEE P802.3cw - 25 Oct Task Force Mtg - EVM Tutorial

All,

At the 25 Oct 2021 IEEE P802.3cw TF Meeting, as part of the agenda, Greg Le Cheminant of Keysight and his colleagues will be providing the IEEE P802.3cw TF with an EVM (Error Vector Magnitude) overview presentation.  This will provide further background to the group as it works towards developing the EVM specification as a TX quality metric for the dual polarization, 16-state quadrature amplitude modulation (DP-16QAM) used in IEEE P802.3cw.

Given the tutorial nature of this presentation and its use for the IEEE P802.3cw specification, as well as future specification development efforts, I am informing the Dialog reflector of this tutorial to reach out to any individuals who are not following the IEEE P802.3cw Task Force.
