[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Maintenance #16 (Revision) initial Standards Association ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial Standards Association ballot of the Revision IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Maintenance #16 (Revision) closed successfully on 31 December 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2022 IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Task Force interim meeting series <https://listserv.ieee.org/cgi-bin/wa?A2=STDS-802-3-MAINT;e0a79802.21> will consider the 104 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE 802.3 maintenance reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 136 Voters
  92 Approve
  10 Disapprove 
   3 Abstain
 105 Ballots returned

  77% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   2% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  90% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
