Subject: [STDS-802-24] Revision of IEEE 802 Solutions for Vertical Applications White Paper uploaded

Hi,

As discussed, and agreed in the November 2021 plenary meeting, I created and uploaded a revision of the whitepaper incorporating text on use of SPE for vertical applications.

https://mentor.ieee.org/802.24/dcn/19/24-19-0017-08-0000-ieee-802-solutions-for-vertical-applications.docx

While the text amendment provides valuable information about the benefits of using IEEE 802 for vertical applications, it also raises the question how to proceed with the whitepaper. IMHO, we need much more focus on what we'd like to express through the whitepaper to make the finalization manageable. There is so much more information that we could add.
Let's discuss tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I have a time conflict allowing me only to attend about the last half hour of the 802.24 call. Tim, I would appreciate if you could schedule the discussions on the vertical applications whitepaper to the end of the call.

Bye
Max
