Dear Colleagues,
The 5th IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cw 400 Gb/s over DWDM Systems closed successfully on 16 October 2023. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 1 November 2023 IEEE P802.3cw Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 39 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3cw Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:
225 Voters
156 Approve
1 Disapprove
20 Abstain
177 Ballots returned
78% Response Rate (> 50% required)
11% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
99% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
