It is not in any way indicative of my preference - it is what is written in
the SIEPON standard today. I only mentioned that it was my belief that the
mechanism for EPoC can use the very same mechanisms and still operate
correctly.

Marek also mentioned that his preference is to use in EPoC MAC Ctrl
(Clause 31) or eOAM for the messages involved in the SIEPON energy savings
packages.
