[STDS-802-3-EPOC] Baseline proposal for technical decisions #45 and #43

Dear colleagues, 

 

Attached please find the baseline proposal from myself and Andrea for
consideration at the next meeting, derived from technical decisions #45 and
#43, focusing on the direct contribution into the first version of the
draft. The contribution features two files:

 

-          file hajduczenia_3bn_01_0513.pdf contains two subclauses,
addressing the Tx Idle deletion and Rx Idle insertion functions to be
covered within EPoC PCS Clause, building on respective subclauses from
10G-EPON spec and adding necessary technical details and definitions.
Missing data is reflected in the form of editorial notes embedded in text or
comments / values in curly braces {}

-          file  hajduczenia_3bn_02_0513.pptx contains the summary of
hajduczenia_3bn_01_0513.pdf and changes from 10G-EPON subclauses describing
the respective functions. It is helpful in highlighting modifications and
motivation behind separation of the Idle deletion function into two
sequential processes. 

 

We would welcome any comments, suggestions and discussion on these items
ahead of the meeting. If needed, we can organize a call to discuss the
baseline proposal in detail and have live interaction.
