[STDS-802-3-EPOC] PHY Link ad hoc committee ad hoc meeting minutes posted for today



Dear IEEE P802.3bn Task Force Participants,

The PHY Link ad hoc committee conference call minutes from today have been posted:

Future meetings during 10AM to 12noon (Pacific) on Wednesdays will be joint PHY Link ad hoc and PHY sub-Task Force calls.  Division of time between the two will be based on presentations received/socialized and on agenda discussed at the start of the meeting.

Marek Hajduczenia has requested presentation time on the call next week to socialize his FEC presentation just sent out on the reflector.  (Note, not all email addresses received a copy of this email.  If you need one, please re-request and/or I'll post on the website and send out the URL.)

Call for Presentation that socialize the following topics:

-          PLC discovery, ranging, use of timestamps

o   Timing alignment and relevance to MPCP timestamp

-          PLC frequency guard band specifics

-          Informational overview on complete PHY/PLC discovery

-          PHY path / functional block diagram, interfaces

-          Provide basis for beginning PHY delay calculations

-          PLC messaging "mini-MAC" and content
