[STDS-802-3-EPOC] P802.3bn 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results, comments received posted.
Dear IEEE P802.3bn Task Force participants,
David Law just announced the results of the EPoC Draft 2.1 1st working group recirculation ballot as shown below. The results met all required rates to continue moving forward.
133 comments were received. These have been posted at in the "comments received" section of the website:

Please allow the Editors a few days to process proposed responses and get them posted on the website.
Note that the Task Force will need to resolve these comments during the upcoming plenary meeting next week. Reminder that P802.3bn is meeting Monday afternoon beginning at 1pm, 11/9/15 and Tuesday morning, 11/10/15. We'll decide the Tuesday start time during the Monday meeting.

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bn Ethernet Passive Optical Networks Protocol over Coax closed successfully on 28th October 2015. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The November 2015 IEEE P802.3bn Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 133 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bn Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:
278 Voters
116 Approve
6 Disapprove
26 Abstain
148 Ballots returned
53.24% Response Rate (> 50% required)
17.57% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
95.08% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
