The 1st Sponsor recirculation ballot for Draft 3.1 closed yesterday at 5pm
Eastern time. As just posted by the 802.3 Chair, David Law, the results
of this round of ballot are attached/forwarded below.
With this, I'd also like to announce the comments received files have been
posted and are available at the TF website:

Proposed responses to these 31 comments should be posted early to middle
next week.

Dear Colleagues,
The 1st Sponsor recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bn
Ethernet Passive Optical Networks Protocol over Coax (EPoC) closed
successfully on 10th May 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for
consensus to approve the draft. The May 2016 IEEE P802.3bn Task Force
interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will
consider the 31 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as
appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on
the IEEE P802.3bn Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:
100 Voters
74 Approve
5 Disapprove
5 Abstain
84 Ballots returned
84.00% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
5.95% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
93.67% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
