I assume you review Eddie's slides before forwarding, and also I double check there is no restriction found, so posted as follows:

I was in the call for a while, has to drop due to conflicts, sorry.
 
My general comment is that the introduction of 40G SMF will change alot of viewpoints the group already stated, e.g. the 40G req for servers is now assumed to happen much sooner than 1012. 
 
If for economic reasons, to make 40G address intra-switch networking, then 100GE will become less important for the same application.
