[802.3BA] Retaining Voting Rights

Dear Task Force Members,

For those individuals who are voting members of Working Group 802.3, please remember that to remain a voter it is necessary for you to participate in Working Group ballots.  You can be dropped for not returning or abstaining in two of the last three ballots.  (For details on requirements for voting on drafts, please see the following - http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/3/rules/member.html).  

 

Our Working Group chair, David Law, recently sent out the announcement of the electronic IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on IEEE P802.3at DTE Power via the MDI Enhancements.  I have spoken to some individuals, and several seemed unaware that they need to participate in the ballot.

 

Please make sure that you do participate in the ballot and do not jeopardize your voting status.
