[802.3BA] IEEE Draft P802.3ba/D2.1 errors

Dear IEEE P802.3ba Task Force Members,

Please be advised of two errors in IEEE Draft P802.3ba/D2.1; see below. I will  submit comments to correct.

Resolutions to Comment#395 and Comment#417 were correctly implemented in draft 2.1 unfortunately the implementation is in error. The insertion loss coefficients were incorrectly transferred from the spread sheet analysis to the comment resolution field. Please see corrections below. I will submit comments to correct.

 

Sub clause 85.8.3.5 Test-fixture insertion loss

The maximum test fixture insertion loss Equation (85–33) coefficient (0.193) is incorrect replace the coefficient (0.193) with (0.054); see page 252 – line 15 - Equation (85–33).

 

Sub clause 85.10.9 Cable assembly test fixture

The maximum test fixture insertion loss Equation (85–71) coefficient (0.103) is incorrect. replace the coefficient (0.103) with (0.029); see Page 264 – line 52- Equation (85–71).
