[802.3BA] July Plenary Materials and Proposed Responses Posted

Dear Task Force Members,

The July Plenary meeting materials and proposed responses to comments received against D2.1 have been uploaded.  (Please note that two files have been provided.  Responses are sorted either by clause or ID#.)  Please see http://www.ieee802.org/3/ba/public/jul09/index.htm.

Please note that the Task Force will start on Sunday at 2:00pm. 

 

The agenda for the meeting will be to progress towards sponsor ballot by responding to comments received against IEEE P802.3ba Draft 2.1.  Two big ticket items include comments related to cable reach / budget allocation for the –CR PHY family and nomenclature naming.  Sunday will be spent on items that reach across sub-task forces, and there will be discussion on the –CR reach / budget allocation issue.  Tuesday morning the Task Force will also be meeting from 8am to 10am for additional discussion for comments across sub-task forces, with time focused on the PHY naming nomenclature.  The respective sub-task forces will begin their meetings on Tuesday at 10:30am.
