No new negative votes or comments of any kind against IEEE P802.3ba/D3.2 were received.  The current 6 disapprove votes against the draft are carry-overs (unsatisfied commenters) from earlier drafts.

As previously noted in an email sent to the reflector, “The agenda for the meeting is to consider comments submitted against D3.2. As is our practice at this stage of a project, the meeting is contingent on comments actually being submitted. If no comments are received at the close of the ballot I will announce that the meeting will be cancelled.”  As no comments were received, the April 20th meeting IS CANCELLED.  I will begin to assist David Law, our Working Group Chair, to prepare for submission to REVCOM.

I would like to congratulate the Task Force on this milestone.  Furthermore, I would like to thank the Task Force in its diligence getting to this point. Our first study group meeting was Sept 20, 2006, and I remember being so nervous before that meeting started. I couldn’t envision this day back then, but today it is a great feeling, and I want to thank everyone for their efforts.

Best Regards,

John D’Ambrosia
