Meeting Plan

The room rate for our block is €169, single or double occupancy. The room block will close on May 7, 2008. Please note that the date currently displayed on the Website, April 11, is incorrect. The hotel has created a Website for room reservations at 802.3 Munich Interim Reservations. Do not use the hotel's public Website; the group code will not work. Please refer to group code "802.3" when making reservations by using the special 802.3 phone reservation numbers: +49 89 3845 2525 or FAX: +49 89 3845 2555. Do not use the group code on the main hotel voice or FAX numbers as found on the hotel's regular Website or Hilton central reservations; they will not work. The Web links and telephone numbers on this page are the for the 802.3 Interim.

Hotel reservations may be cancelled no later than 4PM on your scheduled arrival date.

The 802.3 meeting Website will present you with a number of room and cost options, not just the €169 block rate. You will need to look carefully to find our rate. Please note that the room rate is only good from May 11 through May 16. If you enter dates outside that range, the system will tell you that the group rate is not available across your entire range. If you wish to stay on dates outside the group rate, you will need to make separate reservations and pay the prevailing rate for those dates. This is normal Hilton Hotels reservation system behavior.

Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that is a scheduled as part of these sessions must pay the registration fee. The meeting fee will be €150, which includes in-room Internet Monday through Thursday, refreshments, meeting room Internet, and meeting room rental. There is no Web registration. Meeting fee registration and collection will be handled at hotel check-in time. If you do not stay at the meeting hotel, you will need to see the meeting host to arrange for the hotel to collect the meeting fee.

Transportation from Munich airport (MUC)

Taxi - A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost about €50.00.

Train - Take the S-Bahn S8 train from Franz-Josef Strauss (MUC) airport towards Munich. The cost is €8.80, either at the ticket machines or the desk at the airport near the station entrance. The train station is between Terminals 1 and 2. Trains run at least every 20 minutes and the journey takes 35 minutes. Get off the train at the Rosenheimer Platz station and follow the signs for the hotel, which is situated directly above the station.
