Meeting Plan

All meetings will take place at The Shilla Hotel. The Sofitel Ambassador is a lower cost alternative hotel approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the Shilla Hotel. Both hotels provide complimentary breakfast and internet access in the room rates however if you stay at the Sofitel Ambassador you will NOT have complimentary internet access at the Shilla Hotel during the meetings. Reservations can be made with your hotel of choice through its web reservation sites above. Alternatively reservations can be made by completing and then faxing the reservation forms above for your hotel of choice. Please ensure you mention IEEE 802.3 so that you get the correct room rate.

The reservation deadline for rooms in our block is August 31st, 2007. The special room rate will be available until August 31st or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Reservations made after that date will be accepted on a space available basis. Everyone is encouraged to reserve a room as quickly as possible. Reservations must be guaranteed with major credit card. In the event of cancellation, written notification has to be sent to your hotel. The following cancellation fees will be charge to your credit card automatically. Cancellation between 6 and 3 days prior to arrival, 50% of one nights room charge. Cancellation 2 days or less prior to arrival, one nights charge.

To pre-register there are two options.

Option 1 - If you are staying at the Shilla hotel and book your room through the web site there is a tick box to pre-register.

Option 2 - If you do not use this option please send an e-mail to the local organizer with an email titled "IEEE802.3 Seoul Meeting Registration" with the following information:

[c] Task force and Study Group meetings you will attend
[d] Attendance of social
[e] Phone number and e-mail

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to confirm receipt of registration.

Visas

If you need help to issue your visa to visit South Korea, please e-mail to local organizer with following information

There is a social on Wednesday night. The venue will be announced at the meeting.

Taxi - A regular taxi to either hotel will cost about 45,000 won, a prestige taxi will cost about 80,000 Won. In both cases tolls (7,100 Won) will be added.

Korean Airlines Limousine Bus - A Korean Airlines Limousine bus departs from Incheon International Airport to both meeting hotels every 20 or 30 minutes. It stops first stop at the Sofitel hotel and then at the Shilla hotel. It is bus line #2 heading for Namsan and departs from bus stop 4B (East) and 11A (West). The fare is 13,000 Won.
