IEEE 802.3 January 2012 Interim - last reminder before early deadline and room block cut-off
I?d like to remind everyone that Wednesday January 4th will be the last day
of early registration for the January Interim meeting, and the last day that
the Fairmont Newport Beach will hold guest rooms in group?s room block at
the group rate. At the end of the day, the registration fees will increase,
and the hotel will transfer any unsold rooms into general inventory. Please
visit the 802.3 Interims page for further information, or follow this link
--- http://tinyurl.com/6d6ha38 to register and book your hotel.
If you have reserved a hotel room but no longer plan to attend the interim,
please cancel your reservation today so that someone else from our group can
use the room.
If you still need to register for the meeting, please remember to do so as
soon as you can. Additionally, please note that if you need to cancel a
meeting registration you must notify the meeting planner no later than 5pm
PST next Wednesday January 11th.
If you still need a hotel room, please make your reservation ASAP. As I
write, there are rooms available at the group rate throughout the meeting
week, but the block is selling out quickly and the hotel expects to be at
capacity from Wednesday through Friday. If you have trouble booking online
for all the dates you need, please call hotel reservations for assistance.
Thanks to everyone who has taken care of all of this planning before and
during the holidays. I am pleased to report that registrations and hotel
reservations are well ahead of the September interim. Our thanks to the
Ethernet Alliance for hosting our first interim meeting of 2012.
I look forward to seeing you in Newport Beach!
