Fw: [802.3] +++P802.3-2005/Cor1/D1.0 Initial Working Group ballot



All,

The Working Group ballot for IEEE P802.3-2005/Cor1 (IEEE 802.3au) opened
yesterday. Non IEEE 802.3 voting members are welcome to participate in
submitting comments by using the instructions in the email below but are
requested to only submit technical (T) and editorial (E) comments. ER and
TR comments submitted by IEEE 802.3 voting members will be treated as E
and T comments.

All IEEE 802.3 voting members are requested to ensure that they submit a
ballot. Disapprove ballots should be accompanied by either a TR or an ER
comment.

This is the announcement of the electronic IEEE 802.3 Working Group
ballot on P802.3-2005/Cor1/D1.0, Corrigendum 1 to IEEE Std 802.3-2005
(working group reference is 802.3au).  Remember that voting as well as

The corrigendum is based on the approved revision of IEEE Std 802.3.
IEEE Std 802.3-2005 is in publication preparation with publication
expected in early December (during this ballot).  The draft will be
compared by the editor and reconciled against IEEE Std 802.3-2005 when
it is available.

Tuesday, 27 December 2005

Unfortunately, this ballot close may even fall on an employer granted
holiday for some ballot participants.  Please plan accordingly -- you
may want to schedule your own earlier personal due date for your ballot
and comments.
