[RE] initial draft of VG presentation for IEEE 1588 describing needs of ResE in timing/synch area

I just uploaded an initial draft VG presenation for IEEE 1588 describing the needs of ResE in the timing/synch

I expect that Michael will shortly upload this to the 802.1 ResE.

 

This is for discussion in the ResE call today (approximately 35 minutes from now); I would like to get comments so I can create a revised version for the ResE call next week (with the aim of being able to present this in the next regular 1588 call on December 15).

 

Note that the name of the group is still referred to as Residential Ethernet, and the acronym is ResE, in the VGs.  This needs to be changed to whatever the final decision on this is (ResB, AV Bridging, or whatever is decided).
