Indemnification Plan from IEEE and IEEE802

Thanks for comments and I will forward for information to Rona and get some
comments at the June Standards Board meeting. In this age, no telling who is
sued. 1Sept annual date is start-up and allows the summer for sponsors to
get their systems up and running. I guess 1Sept is as good as any annual
date.

IEEE 802 will comply and will take a motion (I think I know the result) in
July that IEEE 802 submit the names (with or without) the proviso that the
list is only used for purposes of indemnification and no other purposes.

Buzz - As far as I can tell from reading the text of the implementation
plan, the Sept 1 2000 date is a 1-off deadline for the initial lists, for
the purposes of getting the scheme up-and-running, not a fixed anniversary
for updates.

I agree. As an IEEE & SA member, I already receive more IEEE-related SPAM
than I am comfortable with.
