Paul:

Howard is correct. We all promised including you that Thursday wouldn't become another night for 802 wide activities. Please remember that some working groups don't meet on Wednesday and most of their people have left the building by Thursday night.

As much as I'd like to watch another episode of the Karen and Judy show
(I only get to see it every three months), I am opposed to holding any
evening sessions on Thursday. When we decided to move the closing
SEC meeting to Friday, it was with the explicit promise that Thursday
evening WOULD NOT be used for any organized 802-wide meetings.

Our plenary week meeting schedules are quite full already, and many
of us are truly burned out by Thursday night, and need the time
to either hold WG meetings, catch up on email, relax and unwind, or
simply get to sleep early. Please don't give us another 802-wide session
to attend.

Instead, I suggest that we grant the staff one of the tutorial slots at
the July meeting.
