Re: [802SEC] Disbanding of 802.4 and 802.9

What part of .12 is still active? The newest date is 1998 on .12c. There is also a 1998 date on the ISO/IEC edition which includes the original 1995 base standard plus the 1997 supplement.

2004 - 1998 = 6 years or 1 year over the reaffirmation date. If it hasn't been administratively withdrawn, shouldn't have been? Or do they wait to the last standards board meeting of the year after the 5 years ran out.

Tony,

I believe Paul checked with SA, and they indicated that 12 still has an active standard. So they can't be disbanded unless we reassign then standard to another group or withdraw it.

I think that list is inaccurate - I am pretty sure we disbanded 12 for
example, since I have been on SEC.

Tony
